Billy Sue and Brenda came to visit from Nova Scotia and I guess your mom had to tell them because otherwise, they'd try to force her to go on a roller coaster when they all went to Universal Studios and your mom's not supposed to do stuff like that.

I actually get paid to write and direct, which in the absence of any other yardstick implies that I know what I'm doing. Most of what I do is commercials. They're not as glamorous as films, but they make for really good training. It's harder to fit a ton of shit in a 30-second bag than in a 90-minute bag. After more than 15 years, I've learned some stuff. If you find my opinions helpful, great. If not, sorry to have wasted your time. Good thing I know how to keep things short, huh?
